Today I was at the bus station. I noticed a familar guy standing next to me. I remember his face because we're in the same route, same time. We're strangers who see each other everyday but never talk. The bus came shortly. While I was queuing, the guy was standing still, his eyes on his mobile phone. I didn't want to be a busybody, but I was in his situation many times and felt extremely annoyed when missing a bus. So I shouted to him, "hey man, are you not coming?" The guy, in surpise, looked back to me and said, "No, not this one. Thanks". I just thought, ah ok maybe he had a day off.
Story could have ended here if only I hadn't been the last one on the bus and the driver had to gently asked me to get off!!! ...
If you're still interested in knowing what was next, luckily the station was in the route. So I waited for the right bus. When I finally got on it, I spotted the guy, and he spotted me. We both knew what had happened. And we didn't say a word, just exchanged smiles 😃
